American video game developer, Valve has revealed the Dota 2 Outlanders update which is introducing a massive overhaul that will greatly transform the game. Two new heroes have been added, the melee carry "Void Spirit" and ranged support "Snapfire", which is the biggest change.
“Snapfire” is a particularly powerful character which has numerous abilities and ways to stun foes and inflict damage. Both are abounded to shake up games and possibly get banned as everyone tries to figure out what they can do. A blog was published by Dota 2 developer Valve published a blog post detailing all the changes introduced through the Outlanders update, also known as the 7.23 gameplay update.
From now, all the players will receive their own courier can level up their heroes to 30. Not only that, but significant changes were also made to the map. The players will also notice a significant change in couriers that can place wards after hitting a certain level and by the way, observer wards are now free. Everyone player will be able to get their own that will level up to your hero and get upgrades as they do so.
When Snapfire, a shotgun-wielding grandma goblin was announced, Data 2 players greeted her with intrigue. There was not much information about her other than baking cookies and throwing them at people. But this time, Valve has revealed everything and there is to know about the latest hero.
“Just as happy to blow your legs off with her trusty scattergun as to fill your belly up with a deliciously-dangerous cookie, Beatrix Snapfire delights in riding into battle with her dragon toad Mortimer, always ready to mow down their enemies with her home-made heavy artillery,” her description states.
The update page states, “Not even the other spirits claim to understand the mind and machinations of the eldest amongst them... Privy to secrets that would shatter a mortal mind, the void spirit observes the workings of the universe from an unknowable vantage.”
It is made more difficult by the outlanders to become nearly invincible as you level up by grabbing monster loot, as it will now randomly dropped by neutrals. There will be also changes in outposts instead of side shops, leveling that goes past 25 to 30 for heroes, maps, and the removal of the stout shield. There is no doubt, that these changes will shake up Data 2, which has some of the largest communities and esports tournaments out there.
