PlayStation 4 System Software Updated To 7.00 Unveiled Globally

The latest software update for PlayStation 4 is version 7.00, unveiling worldwide this week. The updates contain new functionality to key system features comprising of Remote Play and Party features.

It introduces a number of features included in the newly intensify Party prior to its beta. Here, is the list of details that PS4 players are looking forward to experiences.

Party Feature Update:

For PS4 followers who enjoy playing alongside their friends or other community members, the Party feature has been redesigned to include new services and features including -

  • Audio Quality Improved
  • Maximum Number of Party User Has Increased From 8 to 16
  • Accessibility Support With Chat Transcription Included
  • Network Connectivity Improved

With the latest feature update, players can experience better network connectivity as well as audio quality. Now the improved backend has enhanced its network connectivity and permit users to overcome issues related to connectivity, which players used to face earlier when connecting with other users.

Party App will also facilitate the latest Chat Transcription feature for users of America via PS4  Second Screen App on player’s smartphones or other devices. The latest feature supports American English and also coverts party voice chat to text messages or enabled entered text that is loudly read to other party members. If users are using their device to connect to PS4 during a Party, users can now experience a new tab that has been added where the new feature is available.

Remote Play

For those users who want to stream select PS4 games on their devices, Remote Play can now be used on tablets and smartphones runs on Android 5.0 or higher version. Users only need to download the PS4 Remote Play App from Google’s Play Store to enjoy the new feature.

Meanwhile, iPad or iPhone users, Remote Play App has been updated so users can now display the ontroller at all times and lock the screen orientation.

Players will also be facilitated to use their DualShock 4 Wireless Controllers via Bluetooth for Remote Play on iPhone, Android, Mac, and iPad. All they need to do is an update to iOS 13, Android 10, macOS Catalina, iPadOS 12 - to use the latest feature.

As a reminder, a PS4 System with a wired connection via LAN cable is suggested.
